airways are extra sensitive and when they are exposed to certain triggers like: Dust, pollen, or animal fur,

Stress or strong emotions etc. The airway walls swell and become inflamed, the muscles around the airways
tighten & extra mucus may be produced. All of this makes the airways narrow, so Less air can pass through,
making breathing difficult.
Common symptoms are Shortness of breath, Wheezing (a whistling sound when breathing), tightness in the
chest, Coughing, especially at night or early morning. Symptoms can be mild or severe and may come and go.
Asthma cannot usually be cured, but it can be well controlled with proper treatment and lifestyle care. Many
people with asthma live normal, active lives. Avoiding known triggers, Regular medical check-ups are
important. With correct treatment and awareness, people with bronchial asthma can breathe easier and stay
healthy.

People with asthma, COPD, ILD, Autoimmune diseases, old treated TB or any Lung Infection, heart disease, diabetes, compromised immune systems, adults over the age of 65 & Smokers are at high risk for pneumonia.
Symptoms: Persistent cough (with or without mucus/phlegm), Fever, chills, sweating, Chest pain, difficulty in breathing, Fatigue and weakness.
Diagnosis by examination & Investigation by Pulmonologist.
Pneumonia can often be prevented and successfully treated, especially if caught early and managed properly. Prevention by Vaccinations like Influenza and pneumococcal vaccines.

Sinusitis means the lining of the small air‑filled spaces around your nose (sinuses) becomes swollen and irritated, usually after a cold or due to allergies. This swelling blocks normal mucus drainage, so mucus builds up, causing a stuffy or runny nose, pressure or pain in the face or head, sometimes worse when bending forward, and sometimes a reduced sense of smell or fever especially in acute or more severe infections.
In most people it improves on its own with rest, fluids, saline nose washes, and pain relievers, but if symptoms last more than about 10 days, keep coming back, or are very severe, a doctor should check for infection or other problems.

Doctors use the results to diagnose lung diseases and to see severity of disease and if your current treatment is working properly. The test is safe, usually takes only a few minutes.

Video bronchoscopy is a medical procedure that allows doctors to look inside your airways and lungs using a thin, flexible tube with a tiny camera and light at the end. The camera sends live video to a screen so the doctor can examine the airways for any problems or take samples if necessary. During the test, you are usually given medicine to help you relax, and the bronchoscope is gently passed through your nose or mouth and into your windpipe and lungs. This procedure helps doctors diagnose issues like persistent cough, infections, or abnormal growths by providing a clear view and allowing them to collect tissue or fluid for testing. Video bronchoscopy is commonly done as an outpatient procedure. Most people can go home the same day after a short recovery period.

A sleep study for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is an overnight test that records your breathing, oxygen level, heart rate, snoring and sleep stages to see how often your airway closes or narrows while you sleep. You sleep overnight at your home with small sensors on your head, face, chest, and legs to monitor breathing, snoring, oxygen, heart rate, and movements. Technicians present there to do all recording. Study confirms the diagnosis of OSA and rules out other sleep problems that can cause similar symptoms like daytime sleepiness. Results guide treatment choice and pressure settings for CPAP, and sometimes the same night is used to both diagnose OSA and start CPAP (“split night” study).

Endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) is a minimally invasive medical procedure used by interventional-Pulmonlogist to diagnose lung diseases. It uses a special flexible tube with an ultrasound probe to look inside the airways of the lungs, allowing doctors to see lymph nodes and tissues just outside the airways in real time. This helps them safely take small tissue samples from these areas to check for illnesses like lung cancer, infections, or inflammation without the need for surgery. The procedure is usually done as an outpatient test, often with local anesthesia and sedation to make it comfortable.
Results from EBUS-TBNA help doctors diagnose and guide treatment by providing tissue samples from lymph nodes or masses near the lungs. Overall, EBUS-TBNA results provide a minimally invasive, accurate way to diagnose lung and mediastinal diseases and plan effective treatment quickly and safely.

Thoracoscopy is a minimally invasive medical procedure used to look inside the chest cavity, specifically the space around the lungs called the pleural space. During the procedure, a doctor makes small cuts in the chest and inserts a thin, lighted tube with a camera called a thoracoscope to visually examine the lungs and chest area. Thoracoscopy usually involves general anesthesia or Sedation to ensure the patient is comfortable. After the procedure, a chest tube may be placed temporarily to remove air or fluid, allowing the lung to re-expand. This procedure is commonly done to investigate Pleural diseases, remove tumors, or drain excess fluid and can aid in both diagnosis and treatment with smaller incisions and quicker healing than traditional surgery.
